Need help with wheels spec.

Someone is selling me a set of Carlsson 1/11 20s but I'm not sure that they will fit w212 or not. Specs are 20x8.5 et40 in front and 20x10.5 et45 in rear and I'd like to put 245/35 275/30 on. Will these wheels and tires fit with a little lowering?
Thanks.

Front wheel will fit. Rear wheel, while a bit aggressive (too wide) should fit with rear tire you specified.

Front tire? See here:https://mbworld.org/forums/e-class-w...-wont-fit.html

10.5 is not too wide for the rear. Many mebers here are running 10.5
I have 10.5 with 295/25.
A couple member have gotten away with 245/35 in the front while a couple have not.
It depends on the offset and how low you plan to lower your car.
To be safe you can go with 245/30.
The OD will be the same a stock if you go 245/30

Rear wheel/tire update. Most (if not all) tire brands in size 275/30-20 are not supposed to be mounted on wheels wider than 10". Normal wheel width range for 275/30-20 is 9" (min) to 10"(max).

If I go 285/30 in the rear, would it be too thick and rub?

It will fit on your rear wheel, but I think the tallest you can run in the rear on W212 would be 275/30-20. So I would try 295/25-20 as was suggested above or 285/25-20. And I would then use 255/30-20 upfront.

I think we have a couple members running 285/30, I know FTB is. I dont think he had any issues and he is also lowered.
