LED/DRL question

Ok, so I look the aggressive look of the DRL/"hocky stick" LED's (first of all, am I using these terms interchangeably-correctly? lol). I want to be able to control the LED's the way you control your fog lights in that I can turn on my "park lamps", which is essentially the side markers + the driving lights (little inner lights close to the grille), and turn on the LED's to give that mean "you see me coming because of my LED/xenon-look lights", but not have to have full headlights on....[btw, I plan to get P2 package for the bi-xenon headlights, do the driving lights in the new W212 have the xenon look too---or does Mercedes still use those cheesy yellow halogen lights that gives that ugly mix-match effect?]
Does this make sense the way I am describing? Can someone please try to decipher/help me out? Or if anyone knows exactly what I am trying to say but knows how to describe it better, all advice/suggestions are welcome. Also, any pics would be nice too
Thanks

There is now way to turn DRL's on with just parking lights.
In the day your DRL's (Daytime Running Lights) are always on. (unless you turn them off) so there is no need to turn on parking lights.
At night the DRL's dim. You wont be driving with with just your parking light so you DRLs will be on.
The driving lights are not yellow.

Going back to my original question, will I be able to control the LED's the way you control your fog lights in that I can turn on my "park lamps", which is essentially the side markers + the driving lights (little inner lights close to the grille), and turn on the LED's to give that mean "you see me coming because of my LED/xenon-look lights", but not have to have full headlights on? (in other words, using your pic as an example, imagine all of those same lights lit....minus the lowbeam headlights-----does this better explain it now?)

In short the answer is no, you cannot do what you are asking without additional modifications to the system
Unfortunately you might have to because in the country where you are from people like to drive with just their parking lights on. The E-class will have your headlights on during those "dusk or dawn where the level of light does not dictate the necessity for full headlights."
So you will have to switch it from "auto" to "park."
Post pics of the E when you get it!

lol, I tried...Wait let me quote myself again.
Ok, Ok I dont know about all W212s since there was a light switch change mid cycle on the 2010.
Let me fix my quote...
"There is now way to turn DRL's on with just parking lights on 2011 E's"
Trust me I tried every f-ing way when I was taking picture of my sexy ride a couple weeks ago. It was getting dark and I wanted a pic of just the DRL's on and it's IMPOSSIBLE to get the LEDs on without your headlights at night.
