Stereo System Upgrade
Has anyone upgraded their Stereo? I would love to get a better frequency and tonal response out of the system. Thanks in advance.

Thanks RBRAD (I have searched through other threads available and you "are the man I wanna be talking to"). Cost to install? Time to install? After install satisfaction rating? Things to stay away from?? Thanks brudda.

Any truth to the rumor that some are going 1 1/2 ohms - 2 ohms?

People run all different ohm loads which depends on your amps capabilities and what power levels your wanting. I do all my own installs and I generally spend more time with install cause I'm attention to detail freak. I don't just throw my equipment in a vehicle, I make sure the install is a work of art. I take as much pleasure in the sound as I do the install quality. Do your homework, figure A budget that will allow for some high end equipment, most importantly your front speakers. You can skimp everywhere but here and I wouldn't waste money replacing the rear door speakers. Invest that in the fronts. Look at names like Focal, Mb quart, Image Dynamics, & Audison.
