Rear rollerblind gap
Re: electric rollerblind for rear window
I don't know why but I never noticed there being such a big gap between the the top edge of the rear window and the top of the sunblind.
Now I wasn't sure if it's because I hardly use it and never noticed or if the gap I am experiencing is normal. I always thought the entire height of the window was covered. It seems silly to let that bit be uncovered.
Can someone take a pic of theirs fully up and post it?
Many thanks.

Sorry I do not have the picture but I concur that the gap is always there. I don't like it.
To mitigate this, I have to adjust my rear view mirror and my seating position so I do not see the gap when looking at the rear mirror.

I also have a slight gap...I guess there is some sort of reason......air flow??
seems like one could mod it slightly to rise up to the top.....some sort of felt or fabric or something....
good luck

Yep, I have the gap as well. Doesnt bother me, with my tints I never use it...I wish they would have spent the money on something else in the car. Just my 2 cents.

Thanks guys! I have 35%'s around my car which aren't very dark. I only put up the shade because my mom doesn't like the sun shining on her and then I noticed that the entire window wasn't fully covered, which concerned/bothered me. (Yes she sits in the back like a BOSS haha)

Ahh, then you couldn't hear the crisp and solid clasp of the doors when you close them! The BMW has a boring thud that benefits from soft close more-so. ![Big Grin](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
I actually never use the rear blind, but it seems much better than the one offered in the 211. With the darkest Tint available back there, any more covering up and it's a safety hazard.
