Special ordering discontinued/unavailable Mercedes paint colors on your W212!
I came across a W212 (E350 CDI 4Matic) wagon for sale in Germany in DB-291 Dunkelolive (dark olive) over Designo Armagnac Leather.
Thought it looked pretty sharp. As far as I know DB-291 was only offered in the 60's & 70's!
Supposedly it has been possible to custom order a US market car in any (past or present) MB color with a special order form.
Not sure how much it would cost, just thought I'd pass it along in case any one was interested.
Check out the DuPont PAINT Historical Library to see available Mercedes colors up to 2005.
