E550 Luxury Has Arrived
After waiting almost 3 months, the 2011 E550 Luxury we ordered on February 2nd finally arrived on the 25th of April.
Iridium Silver, black leather, P1, P2 and fold down rear seats.
After seeing that Mercedes priorities are moving towards focusing on economy and emissions standards I decided to get one w/o lean burn, high pressure fuel pumps and start/stop.
I'm glad I did because the 2012 E550s are 4Matic and Sport only and AirMatic is no longer available.
It's going to be my wife's car since I sold her 2008 E350.
I'll continue to drive the 1991 300E I've been driving for 20 years.

And glad to have airmatic too, that was an equally desired feature as the V8 engine in deciding on 550 over the 350. If no airmatic for 2012, I would probably choose the 350 with 306hp over a 550
