I priced the parts from an independent MB parts supplier at slightly over $200.
I can't for the life of me understand how the rotors got warped. It was my wife's car and if anything the brakes weren't used hard enough.

I just sold a 2008 E350 with only 16.5K on the clock. When the buyer had the dealer inspect it, the dealer said that the rotors were warped. The pads had 50% left. However, if you replace the rotors you replace the pads. I believe the price from the Mercedes dealer was around $660 to do the job.

The tires had been rotated more than once at this dealer and that's what I suspected from the start. They are supposed to use torque wrenches but they probably used impact wrenches. The rotors had never been overheated.
