Installed New Pedals Today
I dont know why MB dosent modify our pedals with the sport pack. I mean something a little different then the ugly black rubber..same goes for door pins! (thats next).
Anyway, I ordered my set of AMG Pedals (yes they are AMG stamped..you can call me a poser if u want but they're just pedals
) off ebay. They were $70 shipped from china, of course lol. The kit came with gas, brake, foot-plate, parking brake, and screws/bolts/washers/nuts.
Install took about 2 hours but it went by quick. The footplate is simple, you just place it where you like and screw it into the carpet. For the rest you must take off the black rubber and expose the plastic pedals(-Brake Pedal is Metal).
The drill bit goes through the plastic pedals like butter, but for those of you who aren't familiar with a drill..go slow with the metal brake pedal. Use a smaller bit to pilot the hole, then the original bigger bit to finish (This avoids bad things happening lol). If you know how to use a drill, you honestly shouldn't have a problem..these holes are tiny anyway.
Then just put the thru bolts into to holes and slide a washer/nut on the back..tighten them and your done. (The Bolts will not interfere with the gas pedal..i already checked)
