I'm considering trading my '07 E350 for 2010. The 2010's are in my price range. I want opinions on the 2010's vs. the 2011's. What is the difference? Are there any improvements made on the 2011s?
I really want the car as soon as possible but I'm wondering if I should wait and go for a 2011. One dealer offered me $23,000 for my '07 (38k Miles) which I thought was low. I see 'savailable between 45K-48K, here in NY.

Big change is for the 12's, due out in Sept/Oct maybe sooner, new engines, imprvd trans, interior pieces etc

 

I was in your same situation. I was driving a W211 350 but whenever I would see the W212's I would wish I had one. Now that I've had the w212 for a while, I can honestly say I'm happy to make the payment. The body styling is wonderful, braking is better, and lots of new features to choose from. If you can, get one with the P2 package. I regret only getting the P1.

 

Yeah I can't wait that long and the price will not be in my range. Plus, I wouldn't jump into a W212 that soon with those major changes. I'd rather wait a year or two after in case there are problems.

 

I can definately agree with going with a P2 (if I can find one). I drove a 2010 with the P2 option this weekend. I didn't know the E had so many options. The car I drove was a dealer special used to show case the options available. This car had everything! I felt like I was in a space ship.

 

Very subtle differences from 2010 to 2011 (just traded my 2010 for a 2011). Better Xenon bulbs for post 12/2010 build dates, very slightly improved Command, different AMG rims choice, etc. I'd say that the fact that the 2010 has a nice alarm notification "beep" over the hideous alarm "honk" notification on the 2011 (which I've turned off, to "silent") almost negates any of the 2011's improvements.

Doesn't the 10 come with the 2 round fogs whereas the 11s come with the hockeystick fogs?

 

The '10 P1 comes with two round fogs and the '10 P2 comes with the hockey sticks. I have the '10 P1.
