Upgraded radar detector
I was happy with my beltronic rx65 but i decided to upgrade to the escort 9500. I hope its worth the extra 250 i shelled out. Any one have this radar detector? Is the 59$ upgrade for constant camera location updates worth it? On a different topic cant believe Casey Anthony got away with murder. What a messed up legal system.

This belongs in a different place than the W212 thread, but I've had the 9500ix for several months now and have made several long distance trips using it. I have paid for the lifetime upgrade of camera and speed trap locations and it has come in handy on a couple of occasions alerting me that a camera-enforced stop light is coming. Not that I would have intentionally run the red light, but I frequently cut it real close by taking full advantage of yellow, if you see what I mean. Not on those camera-enforced ones; you never know how those cameras are set so I get extra cautious around them. I've also had several "speed trap" warnings come on the detector but did not see any police cars anywhere. So, I don't know how effective the system really is, but I figured I paid for a GPS-enabled detector, might as well pay the lifetime update to take full advantage of it...
