That's the lamed copout statement everyone makes whenever people critique their taste. "Urr ollld, youu don't get what young people like, urr a haterr" .

Fact is, ugly is ugly, just admit those wheels are downgrading the look of your beautiful new ride (good taste in cars!) and move on.

I'm under 30, and unless you're in your teens, I'm sure there are younger people than you on this Board.

Guys,

You all know there is one thing you can argue all your life but cannot win, the taste. Someone likes the wheels and someone doesn't. He asked for opinions and not the instructions (or law) what he needs to do. The only thing he really needs to worry about is the wheel diameters as these are staggered wheels going to a 4-Matic. If diameters work out he can put them on and judge himself how they look. They are different and as that might even end up being good for the car. None of us has seen these wheels on the car yet and pictures really don't do the justice for the looks. Give him a break.

I think he was the first one to make a rude/personal comment toward someones taste. He asked for opinions, and in typical fashion, people expressed it, as colorfully as we like it on Car Enthusiast Boards.

Honestly tho, i'm not feeling those wheels either, they look a bit dated. But if you are here asking then you must like them on there at least a little bit. Otherwise, i dont think you would have even bothered asking. In the end, its your car and you are the one driving it. Do what makes you happy

Sorry but when you ask for opinions, you gotta take the good with the bad. If it looks like puke, smells like puke, and tastes like puke, I'll let you know that it is puke. Yes, it's obvious there are some of you that might enjoy taking a swig of that puke from time to time, but most certainly there are others like me that will try to constructively persuade you not to.

Eventhough I'm old in your opinion, I don't like the wheels either. I still like nice wheels, slamming cars, and thumping bass. Now where's my stinking Geritol at?

I'm not old yet, still 39 for another week. I think you should of put the rims on one side to check out the stance and fit to really give it a good assessment. But at what I've seen so far, I'm like everyone else.
