Interior Wear-ing

My drivers seat is beginning to wear significantly, MB-Tex, the seam between the inner cushion on the bottom of the seat near the lumbar for your left leg. Wonder if dealer will have a good-will fix on this , its almost tearing.

Anyone know anything with this? anyone else experiencing it?

Your description of what's happening does not sound like normal wear at all. MB-Tex is actually supposed to be more durable than real leather. You should enforce a warranty claim for sure. However, I doubt a fix is even possible outside of replacing the entire seat.

Seat Covers

Learned long ago that today's cars actually have seat covers. Therefore, it is not a major expense for M-B or the dealer to replace them under warranty. This includes "leather" seats, which are actually just leather faced.

Interesting! Had no idea this was the case.
