Hey All -
Took a rock in the windshield on the freeway the other day ... guess I forgot to order the DUCK option package.
I had a new MB OEM windshield installed at my favorite dealer and in addition to the cost of the glue kit and the windshield, they also charged me $8 for a "Daimler CL" sticker, part number #004-584-73-38.
REALLY?!

wow, yours is much worse than mine....but cracked nonetheless.....
I had a rock visit my windshield on the week anniversary of it coming home!
I'm talking about my 63 too......that thing cracked so easily!
I am going to the dealer this morning to have it replaced......and also going to take loaner home because they said it need to cure..........I told them "No C class loaner please"..........we'll see what I get.........
the quote for the windshield was 250, the labor.........750!!!!
If I have to pay 8 dollars for a sticker, I'll have to get crazy on somebody,
