Why haven't more of you opted for the Pano Roof?

Same thing happened to me. It's an impressive option. It's sort of like having high ceilings in the house, people feel less compressed and like seeing through it.

It's harder to notice on an all black car from the outside, but it's a great option still!

The pano is a cool feature but I opted not to get it and I don't miss it at all. Like greasykid, I spent it on something more useful to me.

For me, it was very simple ... It wasn't on the car the dealer got in just after I stopped in to just look. I wasn't planning to buy a car, much less go for an E350. I wanted leather, which seemed to be nearly impossible to find. But my dealer got in a black/black leather car with P2, Distronic, and a bunch of other features. Heck, I didnt even know what a Pano roof was ... And at this point, I do not regret not getting one at all. The Pano looks cool on a white car, but doesn't do much for a black vehicle. And here in Texas, it is probably better to limit the amount of sunlight coming in!

True. My parents just added an Equus to their lot and it is so quiet and buttery smooth.
I was very impressed, as were they as they have been life long Mercedes enthusiasts.

The glass is heat reflecting FWIW. It might actually be better than heat absorbing metal, especially with a black roof

I did not get pano simply because it was too bright inside car, here in Florida. Also seems to be much warmer inside pano cars here as well. It is hot here!
