is this thing going to be twin turbo? if yes I regret not doing my homework and now I have buyers remorse on the E350. If not all good hahah

The new engines on the 2012 350 and 550 have been public knowledge for some time.

Yes, the 2012 e550 coupe will have a bi-turbo V8...and the 350 will have a new DI 3.5 liter with 302hp/273 lb-ft of torque.

the 2012 E550 is being released October 8. At least that is what my dealer told me. I ordered mine and it is supposed to be sitting in Baltimore until the 8th.

Either your dealer is FUBAR or mine is. My sales rep showed me his order sheet. Mine shows a production date of 10-15-11 (it was originally 10-25). The order status was coded with some letter that basically meant the order was locked in and couldn't be changed any longer. That was 2 weeks ago.

Judging by your username you are in Canada? The only 550 4M we are getting in the states on the E is the sedan. This is going off what I see in netstar.

To have buyer's remorse is just silly. You know what you ordered, and, you know it is a fine vehicle. The last of the naturally aspirated big MB V8's. Nothing to regret there. Just enjoy the ride. It's not like this is the last car you are ever going to buy.
