Question about 2011 transmission
Hi. I have 2011 E350 sport 4matic with 600 miles on it. Wonder if you guys have heard of this. When I shift say from park, to drive, reverse etc., I can actually hear the car shifting if standing outside of the car. Is this normal? I don't remember having this issue with my 2009 E. I also don't remember hearing this in prior weeks until recently.

Yeah, it's pretty audible from Park to any Gear, and back. I don't know why, but I assume it has to do with the way it's linked to the "differently" operating shifter.
