Some other changes on 2012

I was just on the MBUSA website checking out the new E, and I noticed some other changes besides the engine and center color display. 1- The headlights and driving lights are different. The headlight is changed in regard to the turn signal and pojector bulb looks smaller. The driving light looks like it has more chrome inside the housing. 2- Looks like all sport packages come with aluminum pedals standard. I am just going by the pics on the site, so I could be wrong. Any other changes that anyone is aware of? BTW, I think I like the straight led drl's.

The headlights are the exact same, unless I'm not seeing the pic you're referring to.

I noticed the aluminum pedals too, not sure if it's a random inaccurate picture that they used, or if it's included now.

I like the E-exclusive slanted LED's better than the shared-across-the-range new ones, but I hate to say that I think that I like the new Sport steering wheel better. Although, the faux-aluminum/silver plastic I noticed feels slightly cheap-ish (on the C-Class.... Same steering wheel), especially compared to the softer vinyl-y material on the previous Sport steering wheel.

KA, yeah, the new sport steering wheel looks awesome. Check out the pic on the website in the gallery of the front view of the new E, it looks loke the projector bulb on the headlight is smaller than ours. It also looks like they repositioned the turn signal in the housing?

These are the halogen lights. That is why the halogen turn blinker is all the way to the left and the projector is smaller. On cars with P2(a.k.a cars with bixenons), such as yours Robbie, the projector is bigger and the LED turn signal is above the projector, not to the side. I have a 2011 and the lights look exactly the same since I only have P1.

Thanks for the clarification, didn't even think that the lights were not HID. So it looks like the changes are minimum to the 2012.
