Wheel spacers?
#52
I recently picked up a used set of Carlsson 1/11 EVO. Specs below
19x8.5 45
19x9.5 50
On one of the wheel/spacer threads, threeMBs mentioned that the best setup for 19s with offset were 19x8.5 33 and 19x9.5 40. So, with that, I'm trying to get these Carlssons to be similar to that setup and in order for me to get there, I assumed I'll need the following spacers.... 12mm(f) and 10mm(R), correct?
Looking at the H&R site seems they don't have 12mm for the front. At least from what the application says, its only for the rear. The smallest front I see are 15mm.
What would you guys recommend?
Thanks,
Mark

Can you post a picture of your front hub? W212 front hub can be tricky, some front hubs comes longer, regular, and some same hub size as the rear. Also, yes they do have 12mm front spacers for our cars.
As for the front 12mm wheels spacers, you can use regular hub centric, flat type, or the cap ones. Like I said, it all varies what kind of front hub you have.

Also, can you also recommend the bolt size to get? I know it’s 14x1.5 but not sure on length. Again thanks for the help on this.

Digging into this further for bolts...
Using the H&R calculation with the stock lug bolt being 28mm (correct me if I'm wrong there)
28mm + 12(spacer) = 40mm new bolt
28mm + 10(spacer) = 38mm new bolt (can I just get the 40mm so that I have same bolts all the way around?)

Reviving an old thread but it seems to be the only thread with information.
I own a CLS63 W218 which is almost an exact twin to the W212.
I want to add 3mm or 5mm spacers for my HRE wheels all around.
1. Do I need extended lugs to accommodate for:
-3mm?
-5mm?
2. Will I run into issues in the rear. It was mentioned above the min spacer we can run in the rear is 10mm because of the lip.
Thank you!

5mm - yes you need that extra shank length but due to the rear hub lip, 10mm hubcentric wheel spacers required.

I went with BRABUS wheels (18x8.5) that come with a ET50 offset. They suggested I let them decide on the spacer thicknesses as they know what works best. They provided 10mm spacers for the front and 16mm spacers for the rear. So I ended up with offsets of ET40 in front and ET34 in rear.
I'm satisfied with the flush factor - in front that's as far as I would want them to be as far as being flush with the fender but in the rear, I think there was room for another 5mm or so.
I'm not going to push it though because I don't want to end up with problems such as ruining wheel bearings.
Search for Alloy Wheels Direct. I believe they can source custom length bolts.

This is the setup I plan to use on my car, i believe this will be as close to paper-thin as you can get.
Front: https://www.ecstuning.com/b-h-and-r-...-pair/3055665/
Rear: https://www.ecstuning.com/b-h-and-r-...pair/40556654/
Bolts for rear: https://www.ecstuning.com/b-h-and-r-...ch/1454302~hr/
I, however, believe you have a bigger issue, I see there is a bubble in your tire. While it seems small, it can be quite hazardous and result in $$$$, my 2 cents.
