If you are two feet from DRIVER side door pointing key fob directly at it you can open and close all windows and sunroof with remote. Useless feature. Search this forum and you will see how useless it is.

it does have some purpose......in summer when it's 8000 degree's in your car you know?
mine is black inside so it actually gets a little hotter than that.....
what is the first thing most people do? air the car!!!!! this is a neat feature that can be done from outside your vehicle.....
but yeah, it does have to be in close prox......
probably a security thing eh?

There is also a way to lower the windows using keyless unlock. I believe you unlock the car by putting your hand on the handle and then pull up slightly. don't hold me to this though...but there is a way without taking out your key.

It's also very useful when you notice a window down after you have left the vehicle. I often use it to open the car up on summer days to let the heat out. I guess it is only a useful feature if you have a need for it. With kids, I can tell you that often one of the rear windows is down a bit. Not a teller or epic feature, but, but it is there if you need it. I wish they allowed it to work from further away, but, they seldom listen to me. Go figure.

So at lunch today I tried this....It does work on MY 2011's but you did not get one part correct....you have to hold down the buttons to lower or raise, at least that is how mine worked.
