I have four rounds and have to say after driving around yesterday and seeing a couple new E350 with the straight LED that my preference is still four round (even though I wish they were round LED), hockey stick, then straight. Is it just me or are the new straight LED too narrow making the front end seem 'anemic'??

It's just you...well not really, but I really like the clean look of the straight LED's. I am sure there are folks in both camps.

They're okay, but I agree in that they don't work with the design as much. The LED's on the W212 are the corporate shared parts that you see on all Benz models, so they're a "universal fit". The slanted LED's were designed only for the E-Classes and with their designs in mind.
I guess there's perks to either, but if I would/am buying a 2012, I'd be happier with the slanted DRL's, however, as a 2011 driver, I'm glad that M-B put the new ones on there, so there's some differentiation on the roads with the W212's, and not everybody has the exact same look (and I can feel happier with having a soon to be more "unique" DRL setup).
I have slanted led on my cab and straight on the new wagon. I much prefer the slanted.
Thank god the dual fogs are not available in Canada (on any Benz), I find it hideous.
