Just Curious...

I noticed what looks like a camera above the reverse side of the rearview mirror. It can be seen through the windshield. Since I don't have the nightvision option (and those are housed near the headlamps anyway), I'm just curious as to what this could be. I'm hoping it's something cool that I didn't even realize was in there lol. Any ideas? Thanks =)

I believe there is an infrared rain sensor, camera for adaptive highbeam assist and day/night sensor. Just my guess.

. . . and for the nasty little creature who keeps making rumbling vibrations in your steering wheel and tapping your right and left rear brakes to keep you between the lane lines. (Driver Assistance Package) I believe the day/night sensor is the pimple on the dash.

Oak, you're right on the the pimple lol, it is the day/night sensor. So that's not what that camera is. But I don't have the Driver Assistance Package, if by that you mean the blind spot avoidance and stuff like that. It does have the coffee icon, Driver Awareness or whatever. I turned that off though because the coffee icon was annoying me lol.

Yeah, the camera part of Driver Assist is the thing that watches the lane lines and keeps you inside.
