I know this is a post a pic thread but I have to share my story. I was at the bank and some douche park his genesis next to my 212 and he made the coment, " hay our cars look exactly alike with the front grills, and the back". That did it for for me the next day i ordered a 55 tech star grill. although the korean seem to be making nice cars I dont want my car mistaken for a rice/ kimshi burner. Enough said
You should have asked him if he knows which car company copied the other one...

I'd love to post more pics but my limited technical knowledge will only allow me to post one pic at a time. Most guys wouldn't appreciate 6 different post for 6 different pics. One day I'll break the code on how to post several pics on my post. I have my pics on photobucket, but still can't get but one pic at a time.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!!
Here are my pics....painted the silver mesh to black to match the lower mesh.
This grill is a 2 piece...the grill+mesh and the chrome trim. I didn't want to deal with removing the chrome trim...so I used painters tape to mask off everything else.
I couldn't wait...installed it last night...took some pics this morning...

hyper...thanks bro...I told myself no modding this w212, but that lasted only a couple days before I started buying stuff...LMAO!! I blame you guys with all your modded pics, etc...

I sold my E and dont need this grill any longer. Once again i would lkie to sell it it a 55 tech grill used three months and ill sell it for 80. For an additional 15 bucks ill throw in the flat badge. These parts are three months old and i have no use for them.my original cost was 300 for both. This is a great deal if anyone wants to modie there w212 grill. No scratches like new hit me up if your interested and near i dont want to ship that will just cost me more unless your willing to pay? The grill looks like pmhs inthe earlier thread. I painted the mesh black just as he did. Younwont be disipointed if your looking for this look. Sorry typos fingers too big for ipad.

i would like to see one slate grille with big star, like the new AMG C63, CLS63... but i don't think there's an aftermarket one for W212, is there?
i had the big star grille on my car, didn't like it too much and swap it back to the original 4 slate grille.

Anyone know where i can get all black radiator grill , none on ebay , and i dont really wanna paint the current one , i was quoted $200 tho. Which i though i could use to buy a new one instead .. maybe

I'll update later, but I bought another grill....flat black...even the emblem is black....thinking of vinyl wrapping my roof black as well...lol.
