. Anyway, here is a picture my salesman sent me of the car after it was delivered. I wasn't to sure about the color, but after seeing the picture I love it. Let me know what you guys think.

Yes and I was torn on that. It would have been a cool toy to show people for sure, but I wasn't sure how often/if I would use it. Heck its not even about the 2 grand really as that would have made very little impact on the payment. I could have asked on the boards here how functional it was but didn't think about it at the time. Either way I'm happy with the build.
Not that I blame them. Now I just have to wait until Saturday to get the car. Any recommendations on getting the prepaid maintenance (looking at 5/50) or the MB warranty for 6/100?

If nothing else it gives me a good starting point with my dealer and the knowledge that I do not have to pay MSRP.

My understanding is full airmatic is a special option ($250) plus the cost of airmatic which i think was like $1600 and the car comes standard with airmatic in the rear just not the front. I chose not to get it because I didn't think the cost was worth it and I was told (right or wrong) that MB used traditional in the front for a more sporty ride/handling. And I wanted a sporty type ride. Now my ML450 has full airmatic so I know that give a cushy ride, but sometimes its pretty rough on these DC roads.

------
Front Suspension3-link independent with AGILITY CONTROL
Rear Suspension5-link independent with AGILITY CONTROL and self-leveling AIRMATIC air suspension

But you could be right because I asked the guy who did the PDI and he said he didn't see it. Makes me wonder.

how do the door sills look? what color are they this year?
mine glow blue and are so fresh...
I know what you mean about the ambient lights.....
I think the door sills look cool, some people view it as a waste since you only see them when the door. I was hoping the lights would be blue, but this year they are white.
As for the ambient lights... one word awesome. I didn't think I would like them as much as I do. They don't provide too much light as to distract you, but enough so you can see things in the car. I was also suprised to see them on the dash and above the glove box. I'll try to go out a take some pics later tonight.

And I agree about the ambient lighting, it looks STUNNING and so rich against the Almond interior trim.
