Tailight help needed

I need some help here...

I was in Holland a couple months ago and I saw our E's with amber led turn signals in the rear tailights. I have a family member working to get me a set from Benz over there.

The dealer asked them which plugs I had on the back of my lights as there are different plugs. I found this question really strange unless they have lower version over there with actual bulb tailights instead of LED. Otherwise, why would they make different plugs? Sounds like it would be a tremendous waste of time and money on Benz's part to me

Does anyone happen to have a pic of the back of their tailight housing where the plug or plugs are easily seen or recognizable.... or.... can anyone offer directions on how to remove my own tailight.

Thanks

I swapped the tails in my former E coupe to the Euro amber LEDs with no issues. I imagine as long as you get the correct part #, you'll be fine. Just be warned that in Europe, they offer a non-LED version with traditional filament signal bulbs.

...and that'll have a different plug.

North American Part #s
Left: A 212 820 41 64
Right: A 212 820 42 64

European Part #s (with bi-xenons, code 615)
Left: A 212 820 39 64
Right: A 212 820 40 64

There's another set of part #s for european tails without xenons.
