Sweden has frequently used foreign manufacturers for their Polis cars. I recall Plymouth Valiants and VW along with US Ford models.

Not bad, but I think they should consider the one in my avatar. It's a Brabus "Rocket" version of a 2006 Benz CLS, with V12 twin turbo and all the Brabus performance goodies at the time.

Back then, a similarly equipped Brabus CLS set a world speed record for street-legal sedans of 227.2 mph.

I believe the police version comes equipped with a clean shorts dispenser for those "special" pursuits.

I guess if you have to take a ride down to the lockup, at least it is in the back of a Benz. The Swedes are very considerate!
