Steering wheel issue

Just last night the telescopic steering wheel stopped moving up and down. It still goes in and out but it's now stuck all the way up, very annoying to drive lol. Any suggestions??

lol the same thing happened in my GL350. The motor inside broke, so you need to take it to the dealer and have them swap out the motor. THIS IS COVERED BY WARRANTY, so please don't pay for it!!!!

Same here. For me though the motor needed to be ordered. It was on back order for a couple of months. If it's any consolation, several pro racers say that position is best because it keeps your elbows off your body. Hee

thnx guys ...was hoping something i could do w/o the dealer, oh well...

Eventhough im getting it serviced at a dealer where i didn't purchase the car, I should still get a comp'd loaner right?
