May 12 is scheduled delivery . It's quite a time but no problem by the time the car arrives I will be having what to do on my car too

Man, can I ever relate to your situation. In July '02, I sold my '98 Corvette because I ordered an '03 50th Anniversary Model. My '98 sold too fast and my '03 wasn't due to be built until Dec. '02. That put me Vetteless for 5 months. That was pure hell.

What I did to keep my mind straight was to strategically plan and order all the accessories I wanted for the new Vette. By the time December came, I had one wall of my garage filled with boxes of wheels, chrome, engine accessories and so forth. It was a long agonizing 5 months, but I survived. Both of my grown sons came over for Christmas and helped me put most of it on. It turned out to be a great father and sons bonding experience, especially at Christmas time.

Remember "Benz," all good things are worth waiting for. Good luck with the waiting. Let me know if there is anything I can do help. I am excited to hear that someone else has a taste for chrome.

I wish our rides had chrome bumpers at optional cost but none of cars come with these so not a big deal .

I will later post a new thread about what to do because I need some opinions from "real time users" lol

Chrome it up and post pics! Everybody's de-chroming their cars so it's fun to see some 180º turns from that here.

Personally, I'm a fan of some chrome, but subtlety and tactility is key, just the right amount in the right places.

YES, and I'm proud to share the "disease" with you! Hey guys, I have not been on here for a few weeks. I got caught up in trading my tuck and chroming the new one. It's done now. However, I am leaving for Germany tomorrow for two weeks. While I am there, I will be touring the Sindelfingen plant on the 12th. I should be back on the forum by the 18th or 19th. I'll share any news I find out from Sindelfingen, reference the 2013 vs 2014 models. Have a great weekend, later!
