yes it's a coat hanger. My buddy had bought one for his 300 and I found mine at Amazon

MBZ has (or had?) a coat hanger like that one, only better finished, with MB logo and you get to pay more.

I got one and it's really handy. The part was 000-814-01-32 $54.90 !!!!!!
