Not too bad, but I'm not too crazy about them personally. They don't look as bad as I may have thought, considering "Altezza" type clear lights usually don't look good to me. Definitely gives your car a different kind of look from the rear. I think they'll look good on a black car with proper accenting mods, and I'm still iffy with them on white.
I LOVE them with the lights on though, I'd love to have a hue like that back there (i.e with the lights off, that same kind of red-clear tint).

These look pretty cool on Arctic white. It will probably not work for my ir silver. I keep thinking of the Sienna SE rear lights.

really? I don't think it'd look to bad....
but I understand opinions and all.....
used to have an Iridium E63, and I could see it having the euro tails.....
now I have an Iridium cls63, but those tails are good to go the way they are.....although some would disagree.....

Haven't fallen in love with them yet...but maybe it'll look better on a silver w212...
Anyways, if you like it...that's all that matters.

To be honest, the photos that I posted don't really do the justice to the appearance of the lights. The images where you see LEDs on were taken in a shade under more natural light conditions. The other ones were taken under direct sunlight so the tail lights did appear more clear, brighter and silver-ish than they really are. These light have certain class to them and don't look like anything we've seen around. I was doing an hour run around my neighborhood and paid close attention to all cars I saw, both domestic and foreign makes. None of the cars that I've seen (that includes many Asian makes) have anything close to these. I will take a couple more pictures under more natural light. Personally, the more I look at these the more I connect with them and understand the design language. MB designer are definitely not following any trends here but rather set their own. Picture will come shortly.

It's really hard to take pictures of these to capture their true essence. Looking that at preview of the post, I think they came out pretty close to reality. So, here they are:
First, the front end with orange markers removed:
Back
This is how they blend with from the side:

thanks for the pics and i think they look better w/the red reflectors at the bottom than just all clear like some others. however, it could be just me, i think they look a bit more sporty w/them on and a trunk spoiler and bigger wheels might enhance the look. well, no matter what, they look better than i expected especially w/white .

Actually, it looks OEM! As it should. The subtle tint they gave it makes all the difference in the world. I'd even like to see a bit more tint on it. Probably not something I'd do with mine as I like the little modification I did to the tails, but a good choice for someone who's looking to spice up the taillight area a bit and have it stand out.

by the way, some of you might have read my ordeal about the melted rear bumper -- this is how it came out after repairing it. The bumper is the same but I couldn't salvage diffuser and had to buy a new one.

Yes, I am not crazy about stock wheels either but current tires still have about 15k-20k left on them. I am considering upgrading to 18-inch somewhere down the road. Regarding spoiler(s) -- I have been back and forth on that one and haven't made up my mind yet. At the end, I am not trying to make AMG twin out of my Bluetec. I just like to make subtle changes and 'personalize' my ride but remain tasteful while doing it.

MB500, another little mod that is easy and doesn't cost anything. Removing the chrome strip down the side of the car. Just a suggestion, since its subtle. Btw, The pics look great, nice job on the purchase of the tailights. I'll be joining you soon.

To my Canadian friends, let me know if you need my help in getting these. I am out of the country for the next two weeks without any Internet access (that's what I call a real vacation!) but will be back on March 26th. PM and we can figure something out.
