I know it is off topics, but what do you guys think of the 2014 headlights on the E-Class? They might look freakish when they are on, but the pics I have seen, kinda look more nipponese in style.

Need a bit of help here.. So I just received my OEM Sport Tail lights but I'm finding they are not directly plug n play. These are the tail lights I ordered:
As I was trying to install them, removing the tail light assembly was pretty simple. Once I placed the housings in and went to plug it in, the plug wouldn't go directly in the adapter because it's a different shape.
This is the shape of the STOCK adapter on the tail light housing:
And this is the shape on the OEM Sport Tail lights I just received:
Notice how the little extra space sticking to the right is on the top on the stock adapter and how its on the bottom on the set I just received? Is there anything I can do to make this work? I have a 2013 with the LED tail lights so it should have been a direct swap. I'm about to contact the seller (ebay), but I'm worried I won't get a proper response.
Your thoughts? I know a couple guys on here have the same tails and what to know if you came across the same issue.
Thanks

I did the swap a long time ago so I don't remember as much. I remembered that it was a direct swap with no issues with the plugging.. I also bought mine off ebay but it was from a fellow forum member. I would definitely contact the seller about this.

P35 package? It's a 2013 model, has LED tails and they look identical to the set I just got, of course except for the color design. The page where I bought it even says they should be compatible with my model

Ah, ok, P35 was my issue, but if you have led tails, should be good to go...hopefully others chime in. Good luck

I've already contacted the seller, so just waiting for a response. I provided my VIN to be sure also. I just cant fit the harness in due to the shape. I'm wondering if cutting the plastic blocking the way might work, but I'm trying to avoid that obviously.

We had to solder the original wires to match the harness of a P2 package car. My car only had P1 and the wiring harness for the tail lights is completely different as you can see in my Post #135 above. Parts department got stumped after a couple weeks. Luckily I had to get a service at 20,0000 miles and brought them with me. I was able to talk to a tech directly and we figured it all out!
