Finally Going To Pull The Trigger!!!

Sports are much more widely available than the luxury if you are planning to buy this weekend. There are some comfort differences but its mostly cosmetic differences besides the 17" wheels on the luxury vs. 18" on the sport. You can search there is much debate on 17" vs. 18". I went for the luxury as the advantages of the 18" wheels aren't that great for me as I wanted the care more for comfort and cruising than spirited driving. Also like the small luxury styling touches more (extra bar on the grille, more fake chrome).
Colors will be a personal choice and you should really drive to the different dealers to see them in person. Personally I wasn't into the white color on the E-class until I saw Diamond white in person and went for it i liked it that much. However its rare to find Diamond too if your in a hurry.
I decided to stay on 17"s and picking up Designo Wheels , may be lower the car up to 30mm that's it

I went in to buy a gas e350, walked out with a Bluetec. It was significantly less to lease (24 months) than the gas car...and it drove beautifully, while being less costly to run. I love the car. It's a luxury and rides beautifully. Both sport and luxury bluetecs come with 17" tires. You should at least drive one before you buy a gas e350...you might be very surprised....
Other decisions on options are really up to you...fold down rear seats sounded good to me at the time....I've never used them. The only option I wish I had purchased was blind spot assist...I'll get that on the next one.

Both are good cars. I'll say if you drive, BlueTec you'll fall in love with it the more you drive it. Some people are reporting upto 40 miles per gallon fuel mileage on high way and it ain't no BS story. My friend just drove it from Irvine CAlif. to San Jose,CA with 4 people on board reporting 38 miles per a gallon of diesel.
Do not forget to post pics of her when you get her from a dealer.
