invoive pricing site?

Hi,
what is a site for finding accurate E350 invoice prices on vehicle and options?

I have searched here and TrueCar only gives me MSRP and what others paid.

I found them easily last week but cannot today--it's driving me crazy.

USAA gives me MSRP and target price but I need invoice.

Thanks

Try Edmunds.

As a rule of thumb, invoice is 7% off MSRP.

thanks Don

Edmunds works great.
Dealer said invoice is 6% off and I thought it was 7%.
I am expecting trouble on the "ad fee".
Can dealers opt in/out of that?

so how much do you guys suppose is the average take for a salesman?

my guy was trying to tell me it's only a couple of hundred (3 or 4), per sale??
is that true or complete?

edmunds, kbb are good sources. All dealers pay the advertising fee and freight. Dealers vary on their "administrative fees" often preprinted into the contract, but negotiable never the less. They also vary on lease acquistion fees and purchase finance charges.

Salesmen usually have a minimum commission for selling any car, often $250 but then if they sell it for more, they get more. As a rule of thumb, I try to negotiate a price $500 over "invoice" without including any rebates, conquest money, mercedes finance cash, MB discount, USAA discount or whatever applies to me. After we have reached our agreed to price, then we add on (or actually subtract) the other discounts.

The "typical" prices shown on the web sometimes include manufacturers discounts and sometimes they don't......so don't rely on them.

The Invoice Price for these particular vehicles is -7%. The 1% dealer advertising/marketing fee is fully negotiable (I did). The maximum price you should pay is:

MSRP -Shipping Charge -7% +Shipping Charge added back = Your Net Cost +Tax and tags. Watch out for padded closing costs, dealer prep fees, etc. Depending on the state, a couple of small additional charges to be in compliance with the law may be reasonable, e.g. Documentation fee. Emphasis on small.

If you can do better than that, go for it! If a dealer won't cooperate, I would find another one who will.

The dealer is still making a decent profit. There are holdbacks and dealer factory incentives that give the dealer added room to maneuver on price.
