Did MB change the whole rotor/pad system on the 2012 E550?

Did MB change the whole rotor/pad system on the 2012 E550?
I seemed to have read somwhere but I can't recall where I saw it, MB upgraded the rotors and pads to make the braking system more heavy duty on the E550 for 2012?

Can anyone confirm this?

Yes, Mercedes Benz did increase the size of the rotors, so I would assume they changed the system to make them more heavy duty
