I agree with the others. Your wife is telling you to not beat up her car and drive your own car. If she notices shift points to be that different after you've driven the car you probably drive a lot different from her and I have a feeling it is not for the better

It’s probably best to do as your wife says though. :D

I do remember my dad complaining though on his C or CLK i can't remember in the early 00's how after I drove it it didn't drive smoothly as I was too aggressive lol Also, how can we rule our the Mrs.dpayne isn't the spirited driver and Mr.dpayne is used to cruisin the 'slade so Mrs.dpayne is not happy with the transmission not holding gears?

Dpayne, 2009 E320 is a great car by the way though the transmission I don't believe is the 7g which the W212 uses?
There is a post in the forums that describe the cars adapting to the drivers by learning the drivers driving style. This ECU reset corrects this when switching drivers. A bit of a hassle to do, but corrects what you are talking about. Especially useful for when you have been driving slow for some time and want to haul ***.
I know the W211s had this. Heard the W212s have a constant learning/adapting so this reset doesn't work for the W212.
