Did i mess up?

Some of us drive more than others. The car is made to be driven so drive it. 42 000 miles on a 2011 model year car certainly is plenty more than the national average but it should be no problem at all. Get extended MB warranty though!
I'm not going to test that theory for you, though.

And yes I think 42k on a car is a lot in 1-2yrs lol. I think any reasonable person would agree lol. I have about 7k in 3 months though so far. These cars can definitely do the miles just need to pay for the filters...

edit: ha, ha - I did not mean there was a dime under my tire. I meant literally as the expression goes - I stopped in a distance less than the width of a dime.

I should drive my truck more
I also like cool older cars, so I keep thinking to get an older M-B or something, which would not only stroke my M-B enthusiasm more, but would literally keep my W212 feeling like a brand new car from the future all the time.
As long as a car is timeless, I can always appreciate it.
