Wipers
Anybody experienced this with their wipers.
I usually set the wipers to the first setting...so if there is rain...the wipers will automatically wipe at the slow interval....however, I noticed this on 2 occasions that it wiped 10 times at the high rate and there was no rain at all...and it forced me to turn OFF the wipers. Weird.

This has happened to me a couple of times when there was very fine mist. Also, once there was some bug dirt right on the sensor area on the glass and when the wiper started it just smeared it with the small amount of water all over the sensor area and the wipers went fastest speed. Had to clean the glass.
With my Audi Q7 the auto wipers came on a few times when I turned the car against the sun. The auto function comes from a light sensor and sun light can mess with it. This has not happened with my Benz yet but I think this is why they recommend to turn wipers to OFF position if it is not raining.
