The quote above made me laugh. My five-year, when denied permission, says "But you always never let me do it for a long time." Maybe the great car made your inner five-year old come out!
I myself prefer the E, both visually, and functionally (I'm too tall to fit into the front seat of a CLS without my head being wedged against the roof), but the CLS is a great alternative for someone who fits in it, wants another take on a 4-Door and wants to stick with the M-B brand. Also, compared to the cost of the BMW 6-Series/6GC, it's a downright bargain (the CLS63 costs about as much as a 650i with options).

Also, I agree with you about the leather. The smell you get when you open the door ... it's so welcoming lol
LOL. so what's the difference between the 5 series and 6 series

i thought the 6 was a 5 series coupe?
oh well, they are all ugly anyways. MBZ trumping BMW right now in terms of design. all the bmw models look too similar!
I do like the new 5er, not as much as the E, but if I were in the market for one of these cars all over again, and was weighing the pro's and con's, one big con against the 5-Series would be that not only is it a relatively well selling i.e common-ish Luxury Car in itself (which is fine and a good testament to the car, however key words "in itself").... but the fact that its general design is so closely shared throughout the BMW lineup, you really lose even more distinction.

I like 5 Series though and may be it's a good thing for 5 Series Owners , you can hardly tell a major difference for interior design and styling between 5 and 7 Series
lol

yes! and it appears that BMW is stealing this idea from Audi... Audi started the whole inbreeding concept among their cars... can people really tell the difference between A3, A4, A5, A6, A7, A8 by looking at the front? they look like a big happy family of rabbits keep on producing and producing... like that old credit card commercial....
