Hi Everyone,

I picked her up yesterday afternoon. So excited! It has surprisingly good acceleration and great MPG so far. Very happy, especially with the deal I got.

It has P1, heated seats and sport styling.

Planned mods so far:

1) H7 HID Kit for Low Beams
2) W5W 6000k LED Parking / City Lights
3) Clear Corner Bumper Reflectors
4) 35% Tint All Around
5) Complete Debadging
6) Upgrade to OEM 18's (perhaps)
7) Some chrome trim in a few places (nothing tacky)
8) Tuning Chip?

Any other suggestions?

Thanks!!

This is a very lovely car

I would say for ride quality no bigger wheels than 18"s . You can try Designo wheels , I am using 17" Designo on my car and totally cool rims

For chrome trim , I recommend you chrome tail light trim and mirror covers .
cks performance sells these items and I bought my items from them . OJCorvette ,a member in here , has got some cool chrome trims in his car .

Tuning chip could void warranty , my dealer told me that Carlsson would not cancel the warranty . Otherwise Racechip makes superb performance kits

Do not forget valve stem caps , I am using MB logo ones

Looking for 18's max.
Was hoping for OEM's with tires.... I just want to do a swap with my current setup.

Anyone interested in my wheels and tires? Theres 86 miles on them....

Good for you. You did some study correctly to pick the car, BlueTec. It really is amazing car. It just sips diesel fuel to give you highway mileage of 40 miles per gallon if not more in some case. City driving is amazing better than EPA rating. Enjoy your car.

Congrats Alan. Great car. I just got mine 1 month ago from the same dealer. Already installed HID kit. I actually like 17" wheels. My previous E had 18", but I had tire/wheel insurance. I changed 2 wheels and 3 tires using it during my lease. It's not fun to drive in NYC with 18"s. Bluetec wheels look IMO very good, but it's a matter of personal taste. Think twice when you will tint it. Just before I returned my old car I got 2 tickets for too much tinted windows in Brooklyn. My tint was 50%. The law in NY 70% side windows. Rear - no limit. If you tint - just be prepared to pay $90 ticket per window. Gas mileage in the city - about 20-22 mpg. Highway - close to 40mpg.
Enjoy your car. You'll love it.

Thanks!

All of my previous cars were tinted with 35%. I got 2 tickets (1 per window) about 3 years ago on my 328i Coupe. For some reason, the 35% tint looked extra dark on that dark (must have been the black interior).

Loving the gas mileage so far. Almost too good to be true.

Who did you deal with at Sovereign?

Noice! Beautiful dark blue too...almost got that same color--my dealer had one on the showroom floor, but it unfortunately wasn't 4Matic.

they make the plates as ugly as possible so most of the people will get custom or personalized plates. state makes tons of money out of it. smart move!
