New E owner saying hello
I just sold my loaded 07 V70R 6spd Manual and got me a 2010 E350 RWD, p1, palladium silver, sports version. It's certified so I got about 30 months in warranty including remainder of factory warranty left. So far so good, very happy with it. So far i'm getting 19 city, 28hwy very impressed, enough power, no complaints there.
Few questions here:
1. Hold feature - awesome! love it. - Q - are the brake lights on while on HOLD? my wife are scared that we might get plowed sitting on hold.
2. Back seat - do they fold or is it part of an option? Can't find the lever

3. During dealer delivery, sales guy pair my iPhone, showed me back sun-shade up and down function, head rest up and down, etc then we are done and it won't start....is that enough to drain battery? should i be worried that my battery is weak?
Still reading the manual and command features, so might be back for more questions. Thanks in advance!

#3 is very weird...no that should not be enough to drain the battery. The dealer didn't replace it? Very strange they just jumped you?
Thanks, I will post picture soon!
Yes they just jump it and it works fine. Car got 32k miles and so far I put in about 1000 miles mostly short trip (5 to 40 miles) without any starting issue.
I have not taken any attention to detail about hold function lights up brake lights . I think owners manual should tell about this , still put someone behind your car and have him / her look at the lights with HOLD activated
lol Folded seats are option , I believe it was 454 code for them
Just to keep your mind at ease you can replace your battery , these things you mentioned have no affect draining your battery but I turn off the music stream when my car doesn't run , I think bluetooth audio must be pulling more energy then radio lol

Palladium is one of my fave colors

answers below!
1.Yes, light is on, if you look at night you will see it illuminated. I checked that out right away!
2.Def not stock, maybe an option.
3.Sounds like your battery is weak or a potential short. As a tip, if you have keyless, never leave key in car. It drains both the car's and key's battery. Maybe that is what the dealer was doing??
. the best way to check your battery is go to costco or sam's club. they can check for you for free. if weak, you might want to go back to the dealer and try to have them replace a new one for you. lastly and the most important, post some pics
!
