Question wheel size??

hello guys:

I am wondering what the thoughts are on a slightly larger wheel on my 4 matic: would it make any difference , good/bad if I went from a 18x8.5 to a 18x9 wheel size all around??

would appriciate any thoughts or input: thanx drivers!

Only MBs - the best or nothing
I would do it in a hearbeat.

On top of that, I would take it a bit further - 19x9 with at least 255/35-19 (at least because I would try 265/35-19 first to see how it looks at the front) on all four corners.

Regardless of diameter, I would also make sure that rear wheels would have lower offset than front by 5-7mm to make sure fenders are "filled".

Hype, ThreeMBs is the Vic of the w212 non amg forum.... Very knowledgable on this topic, and helped me out bigtime....

edit: If you are changing your wheels, I would definitely go at least 19" on your w212.

many thanx threeMB's......and I have/am considering 19's haha.....
just don't know about them....I like having a slightly smoother ride in the 550 as compared to the supercar..and my wife also likes the ride in 550 compared to the AMG, so I'm kind of unsure...and as always, you have some stellar points about wheels and such....RobbieRob bestowed you a great compliment
thanx again
