Question 2010 E350 and Siri

I normally drive my Benz with a cute blond in the passenger seat (my spouse) but now I have another companion ... Siri on my iPhone 4S. Cute voice and hopefully I can figure out a way to get her attention without manhandling my phone while driving ... a BIG Ticket-Getter here is CA.

Has anyone figured out how to SAFELY activate Siri while driving?

on my 2011, as long as the phone's connected to the car via bluetooth, you just push and hold the iPhone's HOME button, and Siri starts talking over the car speakers.

Same with using the voice recognition to text feature (the microphone button next to the keyboard). You push that button and talk to the steering wheel and it turns to text.

That's AWESOME. I didn't know SIRI was so well integrated into the COMAND system?!

Anyway to map the iPhone's HOME button to a button in the MB? I would hate to be ticketed for manually using my phone while driving ...

at the moment no, however apple did announce that over the next few years several car makers will begin to install a button to activate her in the car.
