, Renntech loves you, and R and R are your new found friends. Seen the C 63 driving to work Monday with the Carbon Grill... fantastic!you going to night under fire? Joe is racing the dragster there... I am sticking an MB emblem on it
Running 12.5 in an e550 is insane. Those are not so old Porsche 911 turbo numbers

I'm with usamuscle...
111 doesn't seem like any more than a stock E550 would run ...
However, with a 100hp and 100tq bump that most of these guys claim on the dyno (at the crank) (renntech for example) .. i would expect about the same 0-60mph as they say the tuning doesn't kick in until after you're already in 2nd gear (to not destroy the gearbox) ... and 12.4? Would like to have seen something close to 12.1-12.2 .. but I know I know.. elevation, conditions, cars, temp .. 1000 variables on the day of the race
We can magazine race all we want, at the end of the day, real track numbers are all that count - they do not lie, cheers to the owner of the tuned E550, the OP, nice ride
and I asked two benz dealerships about the renntech tune -- they stated they would not validate any warranty claim on the engine or ECU/TCU or transmission if I did the tune .. so good luck to all these people that have dealers that say "No problem! tune away and we'll 100% back the benz warranty" ..

Lastly remember the 14's are all about 200+ lbs heavier due to the awd. So that could be another 1-2 mph. This is what Iam starting to see between the 2013 rwd e63 vs 2014 4matic e63. About 2-3 mph difference in the quarter.

yur right, the 14's are piggies.. heavier and balanced a bit differently with the 4 matic setup. If yur a diehard, you could lose the rear seats, all the mats and rear trunk liner and spare, all the manuals and toolkit and likely find about 200lbs in savings... would be interesting to see then what a '14 4-matic ran on near empty tank of gas in that scenario

An '06 E55 stock with "only" 470hp and 515 lbft does 12.3 sec quarter mile.
I like your idea of the sleeper. A 12-second luxury car with full interior is just amazing. I've got an N/A E550 and would be happy with an ECU tune to complement my exhaust and get this car in the 435hp range.
Thing I dislike the most about my E550 is the lack of adjustability in the lower seat cushion!
Renntech and Eurocharge, who is the most reliable and experienced ??
I am about to do the flash!!!
