Turn Steering Wheel when car is stopped
Dear there --- I just got a new 2012 E350 Luxury 4-matic. I drive in stop & go traffic often, and have noticed the following
---- stops at red or behind another car, make sure direction is straight forward
---- turn steering wheel slightly from middle to right, you feel ONE slight click
---- same slight click when you turn wheel slightly to left from middle
---- ONLY happens when you steer from middle
---- the reason i feel this is because i put hands on wheel when stop at red light, and hands may move the steering wheel slightly
Do you guys notice the same thing or just don't care ? Is this the "coffee cup" alert feature or because it is 4-matic ? My old rear-wheel drive BMW didn't have the slight click.
Thanks.

This happens on all my Mercedes; my GL is the loudest, S class and E class not so much, but some click is there
The click could also be from the electromechanical steering (I had a 2012 ML loaner with a weird clicking noise as well)
