After a lot of hemming and hawing - I got a CPO E550 Sedan!
Hey guys,
I posted here a while ago and was looking at the E550 Sedan vs the coupe and even thought about the BMW 500i M Sport.
In the end, I chose the E550 Sedan. I saw a decent deal on a 2010 CPO, steel grey.
Has P1, multicontour drivers, sports package with flat bottom steering wheel. Only thing that it lacks is P2 so I don't have keyless go or HID.
It's alright... no HID. I don't mind it because the halogens are still good and well made.
The car is VERY comfortable. Glad I traded in my Infiniti G37S coupe for this monster. It's quick and stealth and comfy. Can't ask for more.
I stayed true to my budget and got a good deal at 1.9% rate at about $770 per month (66mo) because of the CPO deals going on. Definitely happy with my car.
In 3 years, I'll get another Benz and maybe a CLS next time around.

I feel more grown up with this E550 than I did with the boy racer G37S. I still miss that car because it was good to me and reliable.
As for aftermarket - I haven't thought about it too much. I was thinking about a trunk spoiler for now. Maybe I'll switch out the pedals to AMG ones.
Not thinking about modding the engine or performance - I have the warranty to think about.
