I had the vehicle in for the first service and the tech found "excess brake deposits on front rotors" which was causing a steering vibration upon braking.
This didn't feel like the normal pulsing brake pedal but just a quick shimmy in the steering. He noted the dealership has had a few complaints from the recent heat wave. The rotors and pads are being replaced under warranty.
I just thought folks should know, as most of the brake complaints have been with the E550, but seems to also be affecting the 350 as well. Checking the rotors was of course free during this service.

We have the sam issues on cars that we fit with BBK's. A quick swap to Hawk Blue racing pads and a trip around the block using very aggressive braking cleans them up just fine.
Next time you get this issue - exit the freeway and late brake HARD several times. Continue to drive the car for a few miles to cool them down, you should be ok.
