installing new door pins
I know there are threads on this topic, but the set I got is different:
All four pins are screw ins. I understand the rear ones will not work (since they are ball joints) but at least I can change the front ones. The confused part is that the round chrome finish pieace to put on the door is also a screw in. Does that part screw out?
Thanks

Door pins
You'll have to take the door panel off to replace the trim rings - not worth it unless you REALLY want the chrome trim ring also. As for the rears nad the whole ball/joint set up - absolutely terrible, and I'd suspect there is some sort of tool to get it to snap in place - I tried damn near everything-even trying to get the instructions from the dealer...nothing worked - just used super glue.
