Tail light DIY
Hi picking up a set of clear tails for my 2013 w212 e550 tomorrow and was wondering if any one had a DIY on the replacement???? Can prob figure it out but would really like some help....

Well, I didn't install these myself but my MB service assistant said removing these rear lights were easier than that of W211s
For right tail light , you need to remove first aid kit's cover to gain access the wiring . However, be careful I had a hard time wrapping the strip back that holds the kit after the installation was complete lol
Good thing for the trunk lid lamps , you don't need to drop all the trunk liner to get to the wiring , I remember they just removed two or 3 clips that hold the light assembly

You will be using 8mm wrench and 8mm socket. That's the only tool used to remove the tail light. Very easy to do.
