Blind spot warning. Where are the sensors

Bought some new cf mirror housing and am wondering if the sensors for the blind spot are in the mirror housings. My new mirrors replace my stock mirrors except the actual mirror. Anybody know

I'm not certain but I think the sensors are both on the mirror housings *and* the bumpers.

I am thinking the rear quarter panels behind the rear wheel area. I seem to remember the dealer showing me the sensor unit behind an access panel you get to on either side of the trunk. He or I could be wrong though. I just remember thinking how expensive a repair might be if someone, or I, crunched a rear fender

There are four sensors and they are located right behind bumper cover in each of four corners. You can crawl under the car in the back and see a box similar to a cigarette pack in size on each side of the bumper. That's your sensors.

When you remove the housings you will find that only the LED blinker is attached to them
