Nice. It's about that time when 997 Turbo's become somewhat close to "value buys", considering there's a new body now on deck and being that they started in '07, have over 5 years on the market now.

You can get a 997 Turbo with under 30K miles for about $10+K less than a brand new or very lightly used 2012/2012 991 Carrera BASE (non S, little Options). I keep wondering which I'd choose between the two, if I were so daring to go consider either. I would have said 991 for sure before, until I saw a 997 next to one the other day and was blown away by the aggressive presence of the 997 next to the much cleaner "canvas" look of the Carrera (even being the sleeker body of the 991). Also, having a 911 Turbo, especially a modern one with upwards of 480 HP sprinkled in Porsche's black magic witchcraft (where their horses are much more potent than other manufacturers horses), seems like it would be like having your own personal amusement park. An exhilarating race-car ride every time you drive one.

Still, I think I might lean toward the 991 Base Carrera were I in the market.... but I just wouldn't be able to make up my mind.

Should just do like Hype and forget the hypothesizing, find one, like it, buy it.

thanx Brad, it's a blast to drive too......I actually drove ALL of my cars yesterday LOL........but my pick-up truck just sits.......I'd sell the thing, but I KNOW as soon as I do I'll need a stupid truck for something.....

997 Targa is a great choice. The Aston Martin and Maserati are cool as well, but in the end the classic style of the Porsche and the reliability win it for me. Post some pics!

don't sell the truck. you don't need the money anyway. but you need the truck to load all your wheels . and like socalclk said, where are them pics ?
