New cable for iPhone 5?
I want to know if MB is making a new cable for the iPhone 5? I don't want to buy a new car because of one phone that I have changed.

that's a brilliant idea and i'll use it to tell my wife when i want to change my car next time! thanks for sharing ! the only problem is i don't use iphone. but seriously, an adapter will do the trick. i'm sure mercedes will come up with the cable some times in the future but your iphone 5 might be an antique by that time .

Does this 'Apple Lightning to 30 Pin Adapter' charge the iPhone 5 also?
My guess is it does.
Can it also play video?
I believe it is only for music playback.

I have a 2010 E350. Can someone confirm these?

Correct no video with the 30 pin to lightning adapter. MB is working on a lightning cable but the is no ETA yet.

The adapter only works as charger, but won't play music through the media interface, my E550 shows unrecognized when I plug my iPhone 5 into it.
